I'm hauling a lance with an 08 PSD using torklifts and a towbeast extension (41"). I only tow less than 3k lbs for now, though.

I'd like to get the superhitch so that I can get a bigger trailer and feel safe about it.

here are some of our camper that we just bought in december. Its not a lance but it'll be a good first rig. My mom and step dad, my real dad, and my brother all have lance campers and love em!

Wow that's a bunch of TC's. You have more in that picture than we have in the whole state of VA. Is that your club?

Yep, It was NATCOA.com
We were stooped along a next to Winthrop, WA. during our 2007 annual Fall Caravan on SR-20. We camp Friday night on the west side of the Cascade Mountains and Saturday night in Twisp, WA. Last year we had club caravaner's from as far away Coos Bay, Or. and Vancouver, BC.

I posted in the towing section, but was wondering about towing trailers with a camper in the bed. I've got a 9' camper, I'm guessing 1500-2000 lbs. I'm thinking about hauling a sailboat behind, (guesstimated weight also 1500- 2000lbs.) but there are no brakes on the trailer, except an emergency brake if the trailer becomes unhitched. I'll be traveling from Denver to Lake Tahoe, so there will be some mountainous areas. The truck is a '95 F-250 with a beefed up suspension. Do you think the brakes are up to it?

Yea, 2000 lbs would be the max I would like to tow without brakes.

The 19 foot fiberglass boat I pull behind the truck/camper has brakes and weights 3500-4000 lbs.

I sure appreciate my Exhaust brake/TC lock .
