Cool Sleepin' on the BEACH!

We had been doing some day trip offroading at a local Cape Cod Beach for two seasons with my old Ford Ranger when my wife said "Hey, can we get a bigger truck so we can stay overnight like these other people?" President's Day weekend 2009, I traded the Ranger in for a Super Duty and we bought a used Lance 845 Slide-in Camper. Here's a shot of the rig at Sandy Neck Beach in Barnstable... what a blast!

More shots at my web site:

One thing I've experienced with camping on the beach. I seem to be able to get sand in place that I didn't even know I had places.

You've got that right... carpet outside the back door, tub to rinse your feet... still sand everywhere!

Yeah, in other posts I put in quotes, "I knew there was a reason I married this woman!" She questioned all the time and money that went into the Ranger but still liked the idea. Now she's keeping an eye on all the mods I'm doing to the SD!!!

Camping on the beach is great! Can't beat the view and the fresh smell of being right on the beach!

Here's one of our pics from Pismo Beach:
