Having the truck raised doesn't offset anything. Just be carefull in crosswinds.

Personnally I don't think his trailer is that tall. It's not gonna just flip over going around a corner so long as some common sense is applied.

Here is a picture of our trailer as delievered from forest river. It's not a whole lot different and is very stable. It may look a little deceptive with 16" wheels on the trailer.

Not to mention I still have another 2-3 inches of upward adjustment at the leaf spring to frame brackets. My bedrails are at 59 inches.

Never said it would just flip over without certain cent. Force but fact is it will take less force to turn over I lifted load than stock load.

Well no one can argue that and I also agree that the truck being lifted means nothing. My point though was why would FR sell a trailer (ours) damn near that tall to begin with if they thought it was dangerous? I would definitely think cross wind would be far more dangerous then roll CG. Anyways, not trying to argue.

I really don't think it's that big of deal.

Looks like a very nice lift job. Congratulations.

Did they modify your stairs to accomodate the taller height? If so they must have added a step. Do they still fit back into the original opening. If you get a chance could you post a picture of the entrance with the steps down? Thanks!

Hope you enjoy your new toy and the holiday weekend.

Truck and 5th wheel look awesome! You don't see a lifted 5th wheel everyday!

No still have my three step. I'm either going to buy a four step or just built a step box. Once I get some time I'll take some more pics.

Ok, so that everyone understands what I did. My camper is made by Forest River, so first I contacted them to see what they thought. They in turn said I would have to contact Lippert to see if it could be done. Lippert said yes (hence the reason why I did it), just as long as you do not go over the 13'6 height limit AND go by the diagrams that they sent out. Safety was my number one concern, if they had said anything about it not being safe I wouldn't of did it. I'll take some pics of the undercarriage later, like I said it's braised like no other....

Lippert actually gave me an option of bringing it to them in Indiana. To far, so that's why I had someone local do it...
