Exclamation 00' 7.3 O/D problems and more HA

ok Check it out cali strokers, my 2000 F250's o/d switch is not working. the light is off or either burnt out. and my truck drives as if o/d is off. which is terrible in city driving, its sapping my gas mileage like crazy and my tranny longevity probably HA! I need to know or figure out how to go about fixing this problem. Also, this just started last night, my truck developed a rough idle and it almost sounds like its loping... idk. Some one should steer me in the right direction here. 177k miles on it.

I had the same similar issue. Ended up being some wet soaked sensors on both sides of the trans and having to replace a solenoid in the trans to fix the issue. It's worked great since.

I installed it my self, took a couple hours to do that and flush trans and oil so shouldn't take you too long.
