July Cali Meet???

K guys....we all had a blast at pismo....but a lot of people thought we should do the next meet on a long weekend.......

How about a summer trip to northern CA over fourth of july weekend??? The 4th is on a friday Since the last meet was more convenient for the socal guys....maybe we can do the 4th of july one at tahoe....or in the mendicino forest....or maybe in the redwoods

only thing we are gonna HAVE to do is get it figured out within the next few weeks if we are gonna do it so we can figure out getting an area reserved for that busy weekend

We should maybe be able to draw some washington, idaho, oregon, nevada people for this as well potentially

i have camped at lake pilsberry up there....and i was told that the area around bear creek (i think that was the name) was awsome and slightly more remote......ive been there....thats just why i mentioned that area......im game for anywere!!! I just want trees this time

k.....im working on finding a possible area now.....i just contacted the redding chamber of commerce and they gave me some stuff to look into.....

our big problem is size. We had roughly 20 members (plus family) come to pismo....and not all at one time...but total probably had 60 people there counting kids. Forest service group areas are usualy restricted to less than 75 people.....

Im gonna work on maybe finding an area.....its gonna be tougher doing it that weekend. If anyone lives in that area give me a hand......all we need is an area to park RV's and have a fire pit so even private land would work!

Sounds good but the fourth won't work for me. I'll be at the lake with my cousin from Tucson. I'll have to wait for another one.

well...then we better get a vote in here..

mulitple people at pismo said it would be better on a three day weekend.....

three day weekends are the most packed weekends of the year......we cant have it both ways.....

so lets get some people chiming in to figure out what people want to do!!
