Registering an out of state 7.3?

hi all,

i'm still trying to find the right truck to buy.. unfortunately my leading candidate just got snatched up.

anyone registered an out of state 7.3l in the last couple of years?

i know there are smog requirements now... but is there a bigger hurdle to clear for and out of state vehicle?

I've sold 2 a OBS and a SD to Ca buyers in the last year...all they had to do is comply with the smog rules in their area...

so i've found a sweet SD in arizona which would align perfectly with some travel plans... now i just need to know for sure that i can register it when i get it back! :-/

Bought a F450 out of Utah in November. All I had to do is pay taxes, pay reg., weight certificate from certified scale.

No major issues since Utah has similar emissions requirements as California
