Don't know $$ numbers, but it should be lower than a truck since it won't have commercial plates.

Ask the dealer, if that's where you're looking or maybe place a call to DMV.

When I was in CA, it was about $100 for my 00 and another $300 for the weight fee because it was considered commercial. If you put a camper on it, you can register it non commercial and avoid the weight fee.

All trucks in general. My first vehicle was a 87 Toyota pickup and it had commercial plates too, the weight fee wasn't as much.

In CA its commercial for a F-250....and 2.2 % of what you paid for the truck. I bought a 2008 Ford f-250 last wednesday

I live orange county Ca. and paid more for my 2000 f-350 7.3L than my
2003 excursion 7.3L. This is what I ended up paying the last two years hope this helps
2010 was f-350= $335 & excursion= $313
2011 was f-350= $383 & excursion= $278
2012 excursion= $178
And now you have to smog them which adds another $50 each for the smog.
Good luck
