Exclamation Borrow / Rent / Buy Stock Exhaust

So as many of you are finding out, here in CA we have to have our trucks smogged. I currently dont have a stock exhaust on the truck. I also purchased the truck this way a few years back.

I would like to know, if someone in here has a stock exhaust that I can buy off you, rent or just borrow?

My registration is due on April 30th.

Please, any help will be greatly appreciated.

My truck is a 2005 F350 CC LB Auto 4x4.

I wouldn't think you'd have to install 'stock' exhaust, just be sure that the emissions control units are there, like the Cat. That should be all you need, but CA is commie enough to ask for the stock exhaust too

I have my stock pipes, cat and muffler laying in the basement. I did make a cut so it would have to be welded back. Not sure if you could use this. PM me if interested. My truck is short bed.

Im not too sure. I do know that they are starting to crack down on "illegal" smogs. They are requiring the tech to input the "Carb" number that comes with the aftermarket product. For example the intake that I have, has a carb number on it, so it is CA legal for smog. The exhaust, first doesnt have a cat, and it doesnt have a carb number. I figured the only way that I know to make sure that I will pass is to put the stock back on.

Thank you for the information. I dont know if this product is a CA Carb legal product though. I am really starting to hate this state. =(

And yes I do have a 4" exhaust.

I am starting to think to just go to a smog place and hope that they dont see the cat missing. haha

Thats too bad. I wonder how much it would be to ship your cat to me? Would it be in your interest to find out? =)

Too bad. You are the kind of person that I am hoping for, but locally. Someone who got rid of their truck, and still has the stock exhaust laying around. I know its a long shot, but its worth a try. =)
