Should I laugh or be pissed?

My father got a ticket in the mail from CARB stating that one of his vehicles was observed emitting smoke that hung in the air in excess of 3 seconds. The best part of this ticket is the vehicle that is listed as being the offender is one of his trailers. I am pretty certain that I was pulling it at the time, as his truck is a gasser that does not smoke at all. My truck is registered in CO, as that is where I work, and is plated as a recreational vehicle, not a commercial vehicle.

I've gotten one of those, also. It's not a ticket, it's just a letter stating that your truck was observed emitting excessive amounts of smoke by an a-hole tree hugger.
