Well in July me and my friends were going to the cabin we got in the woods to hang out and have a party before my buddy left for iraq in august.. Well i was the first to go back to the cabin which is back a long lane.. On the way down i found the cornfield had been drove through and tracks everywhere.. I got to the creek crossing and found a brand new Chevy in the creek.. Was like WTF?! So i called the sherriff and they came and said it was stolen the night before.. They had the inside burned all the paperwork and ditched it after getting stuck in about a 8ft deep hole in the creek, Just the front end was down in it a little over the front tires.. The tow truck they called couldnt get it out and they had us go get our buddys dad and his 4520 JD.. We got it out with that.. Was one hell of a night though..
It still had the price tag of $35k in the window also.....

I would have kept it for a woods truck, shoot, the theives already did the hard part for you.

Just kidding though really...

I think OnStar can locate you via GPS nowadays, to track stolen vehicles.. at least they were considering doing that in order to help law enforcement. I've even heard they can now shut a vehicle off during a police pursuit, altho I'm not sure they've started doing that, I heard they were capable of it.

oh man! thats great, was it a diesel? i probably would have pulled it out with my truck, did some beating in the mud, then call the sherif.

It was a gasser..... And then all i had was my 2wd danger ranger... i almost got stuck in the creek after the tractor left ruts in it... You could tell the people who took it ditched it the night before and were goin.. so we werent worried..
