Unofficial BPS Meet

Its kinda short notice to make it an official MNG, but this weekend, Labor day weekend, there is a truck and tractor pull here in New Riegel. Me and Nick will definitely be there, and we will be pulling. Anyone else is welcome to show up. If its like last year they will only have 10 open spots for pulls though. I guess they are trying to downsize the whole event. Nick im sure will chime in here with some more info, like exact location, etc.

Exact location huh? Middle of Reinharts field I will get an address tomorrrow.

I know of about 25 people planning to pull in the 10 spots so we will have to go early to get in. They might allow more trucks if the mowers/tractors dont take to long.

Also they have been trying to downsize for years now. It started as literally 50 people from town pulling mowers. I used to pull my john deere 140. Then they added tractors, then trucks, then ATVs, then semis. It got to be a MASSIVE event, people from out of state pulling tractors in with semis etc. There was many problems with drinking and driving etc. They decided to downsize, so they cut the semis and ATVs. A few years later they cut gas trucks and limited entries in the diesel class. It has gotten alot smaller. Still a total beerfest, but thats a basic rundown of the history.

Also I might add, this is a weekend long event. Pulling is Sunday night.

Its an unofficial event with short notice. Just wanted to let people know if they wanted to stop out

As for address, there is not one because it is a field. My address is:

So far we have no interest though Nick. Looks like the only BPS members are gonna be us local guys, me, you, chunk, austin, etc
