5r110 rebuild?

Do you guys rebuild 5r110 transmissions? I can't afford it until early August but I'm trying to find out who can work on this type of tranmission in CA. No luck finding anyone competent in the bay area so far.

Didn't want to tie up phone lines w/questions to something that I'm not trying to get done until early August. Just searching my options right now

Thank you.

Can't afford that. I can get it built, imo, to a comparable standard, for cheaper, closer to my location.

I did find a shop in my town that can get and install his 5r110...just pricey and out of my budget. They've done a few of his 4r100's I guess.

We do complete 5r110 rebuilds for $450, with new rebuild kit, torque converter and gaskets.

Does that include dropping the tranny? That just sounds too cheap??

that is the same guy/shop that couldn't build MTW's 5r110. Take it to PM though as not to cludder up Brown's vendor forum.

You can't buy the parts for $450. I wouldn't let this person near mine.
