window button work storm coming

ok this usually not a bog deal but a storm is gonig to be hittin pa here and my passenger side window button wont work and i cant get the window up even wityh me tryin to push it up can anyone i need somthin bad

Your driverside door control will not work either. If niether work then most likely it is a problem with the motor. Now you can remove the doorpanel and disconnect the window from the motor and get it up in place that way.

Oh and check the fuses as well. I would do this before I start taking the door apart.

its only the passenger side and it jus happened jus like an hour ago and it worked earlier

neither switch works for the passenger side? I know with the two chevys i had when that happened it meant the drivers door switch was bad

Hmmm, well shoot if it is possible later when I get home I will look at the wiring diagram I have and see if I can help you out some more.

There is also a relay. It is under the dash.

yeah i jus got the fuse out but it isnt a see thru cover so my dad opened it and broke it while doin that so im goin to need a new fuse anyways now and the passnger side lock swithch works fine but not the window switch i didnt smell any burnt wires or nothin so we might jus tarp thew window tonite and hopefully it'll stop rainin early tom. but if anyone can still help plz help thanx everyone

i have the same problem, my window motor gets too hot, try hittin the switch up in a little bit after the motor has had a rest, and see how it does

Same problems here. after i roll windows down they wont roll back up unless i lock the windows and roll them up like that or wait a while. when i hit the unlock button the lights go off on all the window buttons on all doors. So i also dont know whats going on. some help here also guys. Im thinking it might be the fuse but i figured if the fuse was out my windows wouldnt roll at all.
