Question F-350 passenger side wheel well Trim

The trim on the passenger side of the rear wheel, where it makes the bend under the truck is pulling away. It looks like it was glued in place. There are no fasteners holding it there. Could it be that the heat from the exhaust is softening the glue and causing the trim to seperate from the body of the truck. NOT NICE. Truck is only 1 1/2 months old!!
