Cool Go'n nuts

I finally cured the battery draw, second little breaker top left in the inside fuse panel. The one I have no idea where to start is the charging system. Every time I start up, It takes about 3 minutes before the alternator kicks in. It sucks if your puddle jumping in town. What tells the alt to kick in?

Thats normal for all the diesels now.The alternator stays off first few miuntes of startup I believe due to the glow plugs or something like that.
