Well I replaced the track bar bushing tonight and it still does it. Any more ideas?

Are the tires scalloped or missing any weights? Busted shock?

I've driven about 7 different trucks that had the shakes. All of the straight axle trucks were fixed by replacing track bar bushings or sway bar end link bushings. One blew the engine before it was fixed. The TTB trucks were radious arm bushings. My '97 has to be aligned just right for it to handle right.

The tires are worn a little uneven..... The steering stabilizers have seen better days. So I'm thinking that the next best thing to go with.

The truck has to go in the shop for its free oil change and get the trailer brake system checked out soon so i might just have them take a look at it.

I hope that gets it for you. We had one truck in the shop for a month, and they never got it fixed. After spending over $2000 rebuilding the frond end we brought it home and changed the sway bar end links and fixed it. It can be a nightmare throwing parts at one.

I had the same problems with my last F250 gasser. I put a dual steering dampner, sway bar, and then new bilstiens and problem solved.

What do you all find to be the best stabilizer kit for them? The kit thats on the truck looks stronger than a skyjacker kit but it has some fitment problems.

hmmm, this is a little tough huh?? is the dealer gonna warranty any of this for you? seems like it is a little rusty for a 2005 model. i have an 04 and nowhere near the amount of rust. so that makes me think it want taken care of, but that is just my opinion. i would take it back to them and tell them to fix it since they have to do certain safety inspections and or check before they can sell the truck. sounds like it is pretty unsafe to me. be careful. you are on the right track though by going through the hardware underneath and making sure it is all tight and secure. Good luck.
