Hi & Help

Well, I dove into the dash today to replace harness, I need to know how to get the screws (?) out of the top, area under the defrost vents. I almost have it out but its hanging at the top! At this point I can't read, so hopefully u can answer quick.
ALSO, while I"m in there, should I lube steering, key cylinder, do any modes, (like dinger delete) I hate the dingers, I have the bright lights, sometimes, & just found out the mechanic who installed gauges, did a REALLY bad job,
Go figure!!! CAN'T HELP BUT LAUGH ANYMORE!!!
Is there ANYTHING I should do, fix, insulate etc etc I did disconnect passenger air bag, but can't find steering connection.
I'll throw a link in here in a minute to some picks of things that look dry,

THANKS a MILLION!!!!!

OK< I did figure out how to pop the access 'tabs' on the dash to remove whole dash, brittle aren't they, oops but I still need to know abut mods, & obviously I will be rewiring the gauges, & was doing to put the acpm in, oil gauge, hi-lo hids, possibly fogs & if possible get a security in. the old one would be nice. we'll see. the gauges are bad & bent, no wonder the temps seemed high at thimes.

sorry fo the long post, but kninda in a coam fromm beitn out till three a.m. w/my dog trying to die on me.

this is urgent cuz a storm is coming & I wanted to go on a walkabout for a month & I'm almost ready...........
