Stanadyne

Does anybody know if Ford endorses Stanadyne fuel additive for the 6.0 diesel? I know they endorse it for the 7.3 but have not found anything on the 6.0?

There is no reason for Ford not to do the same for the 6.0l except the fact that Ford now sells their own fuel additive. Kind of a conflict in interest. We carry Stanadyne, and others, we actually sell stanadyne on a regular basis to a couple diesel techs at our local dealership. There is a new additive coming soon called Flash Lube. It is suppose to be the big answer to low sulfer diesel fuel. I think it should be here monday or tuesday. Stanadyne is probably the best selling additive we carry.

What's the upside of using Stanadyne compared to Lucas, Diesel Kleen, etc.?

Thanks

I appreciate your info. I am pretty happy with it. I have a fleet of tractors and also use it in them. Thanks, I just wanted to pass it along.
