Using Biodiesel in 2006 F350 6.0L
Does anyone know or have experience with using 100% Biodiesel in a 2006 F350 6.0L engine? I have heard from the Ford house that it will muck up the injectors. Is this true? A friend of mine said it might not be the injectors, but that it might be the rubber lined fuel tank. How can i find out if I have a rubberized fuel tank? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ran B100 in my 05 from June thru Oct. and the truck ran great.

I run B50 and B75 in my '05 6 liter. No issues to report. If you make it correctly, you should be ok.
The only bad reports I've heard were from running WVO, not bio, and those were related to the viscocity of the WVO and the injectors. One of those with problems was my brother, who ran WVO in his '05 F450. The WVO gummed up one of the injectors, but draining the WVO and running regular diesel in the tank for about 2 min. cleared the problem immediately. |
