talkin tanks

is there a way to mount a tank under the bed somewhere, I need the full 8' of my bed for deliverys.

What about plastic tanks?

Do they make a 2 cell tank where you can run good oil in one side hooked up to your engine and the other side would be a holding tank. So that when your near a restaurant you can fill up the holding tank side and go home and transfer it to your filter setup? cool idea ehh. that way whenever your out and about you can fill up the dirty side. No special trips.

Maybe get someone to make one custom. Other wise how do you haul the dirty oil home. I live quite aways out of town. I dont want to have to make special trips to get oil.

INput please.

You could custom make a tank to fit under your truck but even with a long bed CC, i don't think your going to be able to build one that will be more than maybe 40 gallons....
Get you a 300 gallon plastic tank from Tractor Supply, put it in the bed of your truck when you go to pick up oil and bring home a big amount each time you do it and then you have a large reserve.

Also you can use 55 gallon barrels in the bed. I have done it that way before with 5 barrels and filled them all in one trip.

WOW! So what do you say when you goto these resturaunts to get the oil. Do they every pay you or is that illegal? Also, when you filter it, do you have to use any chemicals or do you run straight veggie?

hey my 2 cent here

ok i think ford s can handle veggie oil
newer Mercedes benz maybe not so good
psd is good for veggie burning because the fuel filter sit on top of engine as g\heat rises it warm oil lowers viscosity and thats the goal of all systems out there .
if you dont want to play for a couple years findiing out what works or not veggie stroke is the way to go !!..
used veggie oil is corrosive but so is biodiesel .it reacts with coppers and brass but who the fudge cares
Do you know what the 3 F"s are

FREE FUEL FOREVER .
