It's obvious that stock diesel oil filters don't catch soot. For those of you who filter WMO for fuel, is your final product translucent and soot free? If you are filtering it until clear, how fine a filter is needed? Or in another words how small in microns is diesel soot?
BTW, I have no desire to use WMO as fuel. It's just curiosity about soot.
@ 3 gallons per hour heated to 150* thru a centrifuge & My WMO is still black. I mix 50/50 with diesel then thru a 5 mic filter on a FASS fuel system. This is all the filtration that I do. No problems yet with about 10k on the truck using this mix.
