Intimidating u

Rod i've also changed my habits as well. I do my best not to mash the pedal to feel the power and see some smoke. Plus I drive the actual posted limit on most roads and 55 on the interstate. I've noticed greater economy in doing so. And by the way, who the heck's running you over in your psd? Shouldn't you be doing the running over!!?? Unless you've got a semt, CXT or some rig on 49 inch iroks behind you I'd say let them stare at your tailgate! I'm only on a 4" lift and 35's and I know I intimidate drivers ahead of me as many move out of the way when they foolishly putt along in the fast lane. And those who tap their brakes always end up regretting that move!

LOL! Yeah you're right, it's not getting "run over" it's the mental midgets doing 100 while talking on the phone, nearly sideswiping my rig or practically taking my front end off changing lanes. I need a brush guard.....think I'll start a thread in general about that.

How's that 6 inch tip taste?

I usually use my tailgate to judge if people are, er...tailgating! If I can't see a person's headlights over the back of my tailgate in my mirror, they're too damn close in my opinion and they're going to get some more red light. I mean I am not one to sit and cruise the limit in fast lanes, or drive below the speed limit on any road, so there's no reason for tailgating me. But if you're sittin in the fast lane taking 4 miles to pass a 15 foot long car, expect to have your little *** run over or tailgated.
I think it's funny when they think their little cars are faster than my big ol truck and try to go around, yet I surprise them and stay ahead making them pay the price.

Get off me!

Well I think that it's the entire country that's in on the bad driving. I was in St. Louis pulling a 10 foot trailer bringing things back home for my uncle when he moved here from there and people would hardly let me have the space I needed to change lanes and turn, etc. Then I went to bowling green KY to get my TS chip and it was just like regular driving here in Indy...

Gotta agree with ya buddy but I get out in the country and I'm in heaven....I just like the slower pace. They may not be the best drivers in the world but it's....well a bit easier pace.
Here's a story for ya - There was a woman, I think out around San Saba Texas, who got hit by a train. San Saba has one stop light and as small town as it comes. The old woman was fine but she claimed the wreck wasn't her fault. The way she saw it, she left her house every day at the same time to go into town, for lord knows how many years and that train had never been there before. THEREFORE the train was off schedule and it's fault......gotta love small town livin'.

Hey was she perhaps driving a truck with a choo-choo conversion? I had to throw that in there! Quite a story, one that any insurance guy would love to hear!

Well Smoke and I kinda hijacked the thread - sorry Ronny!
Back on target here, does anyone know someone who has experienced any PROBLEMS running bio-diesel? I'm still on the shelf here about it. If I can get the used oil for free I can sure justify purchasing the unit to make bio but I've some worries about putting it in my $45K rig without being completely sure it won't cause damage.

My Dad owns and operates a semi truck and he says that he hears talk of them running it in trucks. There are appearently some fleets running it, either 20% or 100%. I have found some more good reading about use and making it.
