Running used engine oil

I was reading over on the Cummins forum about running used engine oil.
Are any of you guys doing it?
How much of a mixture are you running with diesel?
How are you filtering it?
Can you run it in your fuel tank?

I'm interested in doing this if I can do it fairly cheaply. I have access to used diesel engine oil and it would be nice to try off-setting the current diesel prices

Run used motor oil through and get back to us with how much the new engine is going to cost.

You can run it, just make sure your mix is right and it's filtered good, especially on a 6.0. My bother in law always runs his oil after he changes it.
