Any TDI owners ? Im looking for a tank

so I have an 03 jetta wagon. I am looking to convert later this year when I move back to CONUS. I have everything for conversion except tank. Since I have a wagon I would like to put tank underneath the car. Is this even possible? Any idea who could make a custom tank? Prefer tank to be at least 10 gallons and I would have a custom panel made so I can fill from outside of car.

TDI tank

I have an extra one that was made by Greasecar.com. It's a 13 or 14 gallon tank that goes in the spare tire area. It has the heating element in it, but doesn't have the fuel level gauge or the cap. It would be shipped from Florida, zip 34654.

20 gallon veg tank

FYI, I have a custom tank that was designed for my 03 TDI wagon. It was in the back driver side, the plastic and spare cover were modified so the tank could sit on the metal using metal straps to hold it down. I have since removed the system. (Plantdrive system, vormax filter, hotfox, vegtherm inline heater)

Wondering if you ever found a reasonably priced tank? I'm thinking about converting my newly-acquired '03 TDI. Greasecar has a 13-gallon tank that fits in the spare-tire location, but it's $600!!!! I paid $700 for a NINETY gallon tank for my Powerstroke. I realize that it's hard to make a round tank and all, but there's a quarter the number of welds, and less than a quarter the material than in the big tank. Lot of $$$ for a car that gets 50mpg already. Tough to swallow that one.

Ranch hand front bumper. Big winch.

If you think the tanks for TDI's are expensive, wait until you are replacing IP's on a regular basis from WVO use. I'm sure glad I got WVO out of my systems. I put three pumps into the 02 until I switched to B100.

I have had no problems running WVO for the past 4 yrs. I de-water, heat to 190-200, then centifuge at 4gal per hour. The oil that goes into my vehicles is clear enough to fry Thanksgiving turkeys in if I wanted to. IP failures are due to operator neglect to properly purging the system prior to shut down.
