Anyone running CNG?
I read in a Diesel Power mag of a guy who was running his diesel with a CNG tank in the bed to help out with the miledge. Being that CNG is about $2.50 a gallon would be a welcome addition to help out with the cost of operation per mile driven. Anyone know of a kit out there for this?

I've been looking in to it. The kits are out there to put it on the engine but the 3600 PSI tanks are high priced and the filling station is like 5,000 dollars and I hear hard to find right now. I thing its great though. Just mount the filling station in your garage and hook it to the natural gas line already supplying your house.

there are a few commercial CNG stations around, I know the state of Oregon runs some vehicles on it. I seen a website awhile back that mapped stations nationwide, but can't remember the name.
was the guy in the magazine running CNG as a supplement or his only fuel source? |

The way I read it he was adding it at the intake as a supplement.
Is this a good idea? and do they make a kit for a stroke or do you have to fab one up? |
