fryer cleaner

has anyone used oil with this stuff in it? "mighty scrubb" or something like that. a new account has agreed to seperate the cleaner / water from the oil, but i would like to use the 40 gals already there. thanks

I'm not famaliar with that product, but clean my fryers regularly. There is an extensive rinsing process prior to reintroducing oil. I don't want anything in there that is designed to break down the oil.

most degreasers are sodium hydroxide i think and that will disolve the metals in an injector in no time.

I would do a couple of aggressive mist washes on the oil. If I still didn't have peace of mind, I may use a TDS on the wash water to ensure that it's clean.

wow, looks like i'll be trashing that 40 gal, and making sure the help knows ONLY oil in the barrel.
kingchip do you just run the rinse water down the drain?
