Filtering information:

My filtration unit for WVO use

And I think the consensus on this board is to go with a V3 Vegistroke system from DFA.

As far as I know SVO is stright veggy oil. If that what your asking, thats how I do it. For filtering all I have is a see through desposable then a boat racore and the another see through filter. So I really just have 3 filters. The purpsoe of having the two see through as well as filterign is I can see the flow and if there is a problem, I can see if it clogged from tank to fliter or coming out of the fliter (racore). It cost about $75 for the filters and I have an unlimited supply of free oil. If your interseted in my primitive system I'll take a pic. Been running with no problems for 9 months.

Here is my heating & filtering system

This is te filter housing i use with a 1 micron filter. I use new oil, if you use waste veg oil you would want to use a 5 micron.

The pump is from Northern Tool.

I made a pvc stinger to load the Hot Water Heater and finally my truck tank.
