I agree. I've been hearing of it going mostly for $3.00 - $3.50 / gallon.
Course I have no idea where to get it in Tampa. I've called all the local places trying to buy some oil (not bio) from them and the closest place I found bio was in Lakeland. --Snake |

Here that would be great...when diesel was $4.69 here bio was at $4.84, price of beans is still really up there

i wouldn't buy Bio from a commercial distributor if i had to...they are primarily responsible for the huge increase in new virgin vegi oil as well as the huge supply and demand issue for used grease.
I would however by it from the local backyard brewer. |

![]() But around the Houston area the cheapest commercial made Bio is @ $3.99. But diesel is back down to $4.00 now so WTF?!?!?!!?!? ![]()

The commercial suppliers see an oppertunity to make a crapload of money by keeping the price just under that of dino diesel. IIRC 3.99 bio is about 250% profit for them

it is a backyard brewer but it just seems a lil high,i might give it a try but id like to do the veg oil conversion in the future rather than the bio route.
thanks |

Diesel in OK is 3.98 and hes selling home brew for 4.00? No way. Be carefull buying bio from unknown sorces as you don't know if they know what they are doing and got all the lye out of the mix. A bad mis will fry a set of injectors immediately...this is not a long term deal, it will toast them in 100-200 miles. |

I agree more! The few batches I have made, I have washed 1 or 3 times beyond what is needed just because another day or 3 and a few gal of water is MUCH cheaper then $2500 for injectors! |
