Propane on 2008 6.4 powerstroke

Has anybody ran propane on their 2008 6.4 powerstroke? I have a gas company wanting to try their propane system on my truck and I don't know anything about running propane injection. I have a spartan tuner with dpf and DOC delete pipe. any advice is appreciated.

thanks
justin

First thing to do is ask the gas company if they will cover any repairs needed or damage caused by the propane system they are testing. And if they say yes get it in writing. If they say no walk away

are they promoting power or economy? If economy, the setting should be low enough to not cause any motor problems if there are no equipment failures related to the propane system.

Propane, it is great fuel and catalyst. My self, have had propane powered trucks and cars since 1975 and have built engines to take full advantage of the great fuel that it is.

In the diesel world I believe that most of us on this site, understand the benefits that it provides by burning the remaining Diesel Fuel in the combustion process. As much as 20% plus of unburnt fuel, which is turned into more power and better economy when needed and activated system is used correctly.

As for the 2008 ..... I am unsure if Super Chips has designed one yet for the 6.4 PS. There units for 2007 and older work extremely well. I have spoken to people that have them and gain tremendous power and economy from them with preset controls to protect the enginge and drive train.
I know that ATS has not as of yet for 2008.

As for the gas company that you speak of, I would seriously doubt they posses the technology and know how to properly use it on a 2008 6.4 PS.

Contact Superchips and speak to them on there current systems and what they are doing to adapt of build a unit for the 6.4.
Also I would speak with ATS and ask them about there current system and future research.

That engine you have in there represents a large amount $$$$$$$, I really do not believe that a gas company would reimburse you for the damage or loss of it just to promote there company.
