My Bio setup

Been studying for the last couple months and am finally ALMOST ready to make my first batch!! (Next week!!). Anyway, here are a few pics of the bio station I have built in my shed. Processor is complete. Building the standpipe wash tank tomorrow.

(L-R)50 gallon drum with 400 micron filter for first pour and dewatering(drain on the front for draining water, and pumping oil to processor)

Very nice, clean set up. Spent a few dollars just on ball valves?

Just bought the kit(all inclusive). I could have ran around gathering parts, but I didnt want to. Besides, some of the stuff for the wash tank I would not have even known where to locate.

I see you put it in a storage building. Good idea. I have been worrying about how to clean a big enough area in my garage for a processor. Now you got me thinking about a a detached garage....mmmmhhhhh?

Let me know when youstart running batches. My son and I will use it as an excuse to make a road trip to G-town.

I got mine from Utah Biodiesel Supply. Grayden Blair is an awesome guy, and a great help too. (He is the guy in the videos on their site.)

looks great. get that floor polyurethaned or else it will be a vegi soaked mess soon enough.

Thanks. Hadnt thought about that. I got TONS of double ply cardboard at my disposal. With me only making 2 full batches a month, I may try to lay the cardboard down, and trash it after each batch. Whatcha think?
