how long do you idle on wvo?

Do you drive around town on vegi?

What's the max you'll idle before switching to diesel?

I've noticed even times like coasting down a hill or coming off a long exit that when I start moving again I get a nice puff of vegiesmoke. I know it's normal but just want to see what everyone does.

thanks

i think u can idle 4 ever on it cuz ur getting ur lubrication the only thing is i would use a high idle for long periods of time to keep from build up in the turbo and low oil pressure

wetstacking is more of an issue than it is with regualar diesel. I let mine run upwards of 5 mins but I dont leave it run for extended time. I dont have any reason to, its either leave it running while I am in coffee shop or shut it down becuase I dotn want it to get stolen.

No reason to let it idle more than about 5 minutes is there? I will shut mine off if i think it will be over 5....no reason to back that up but these diesels do idel pretty cool.
Summer time i dont worry about it near as much as i do in winter.
