when is the best time to filter oil?

I plan on making biodiesel soon and i was wondering when the best time to filter the oil was? should i filter it down to 1 micron before it goes into the processor or can i filter it down to like 100 microns then process, wash, then dry it and then filter it the rest of the way down to 1 micron as im putting it into my storage tank? or does it really matter?

dont bother filtering anything more than 100+ screen, 99% will drop out with the glycerin. But you do need to make sure your oil is dry or it will kill the reaction.
