93' IDI- Use BIO or not?

I have a 1993 F250 4x4. I'm thinking of running BIO (100% veggie). My friend makes it for his Chevy Diesel and has offered me to try a tank. If I like it, he says I can have all I want. My truck is still stock, with factory injector pump etc... 292,000 miles and still running smooth. Should I chance it or not?

your truck is perfect for it run it !!!!!! you will notice a slight loss in power due to less BTUs but free vs $5? But also be forwarned its going to be a colon cleanser to your fuel tank so will probably be changing your fuel filter unless you have used biocides for the fuel constantly to prevent them from growing in your diesel. SO just have a spare filter with you and you will be fine after thet first filter change.

I have about 25k on my 93 f350 with 273 k running veg in my modified front tank and bio in the rear. I keep two filters behind the seat. I pre filter all my veg to 3 microns and I change my filter every 3k when I do the engine oil and have never had a problem so far.
