New generator

Just finished a new generator built out of a coke canister that is used in resturants and convienience stores, and so far so good! I achieved a true 21.4 mpg with it in all city driving with lots of stop and go. This is on a '94 IDI factory turbo, 4:10 rear end, and it has over 300,000 miles. The engine is running smoother and the power is up a whole lot, I have not pulled with it yet but I expect good things!

I have made a few home made generators, know they made hydrogen but never hooked them up to any motors. Bought a system from hydro fuel solutions. I like the design of the generator the best after taking the generator itself appart and seen the design, and I have seen a bunch. I really like the fact that this system collects the gas in a seperate tank and you can defentetly see the hydrogen bubbles in the lines to the tank. I didn't want to hook it up to my 99 till I knew it wouldn't blow up. I have an 84 with a 6.9 I run on WVO but couldn't find room under the hood to mount the big unit under the hood properly. So i hooked it up to a single cylinder diesel and didn't get any differance, as a matter of fact out of 5 tests one came in just under the test with no hydrogen, thay were all within minutes of each other. What am I doing wrong?

How did you hook it up to the intake? After the air filter but before the turbo is ideal. Also what is you solution mixture? Use a good electrolite, potassium Etc. Don't use tap water, baking soda, or lye. Not pure HHO and can cause corrosion to generator plates. What is your HHO output? Diesels really can take a lot of HHO (EX: 6.0 can use like 3-5 liters per min)
I have been researching this for about 2 months, I don't know it all but have a good idea what's going on. I have purchased a complete system with 2 generators, a water tank, and all the electronics to make this thing work at max efficiency. It's not in yet. My biggest thing is where am I going to put it. Have you seen under the hood of an 08 yet! I will be sending picts and maybe spend a little money on a dyno. I'm thinking of pulling the fan and shroud and building a new shroud with brackets to hold the generators between the rad and the engine.

Dont worry its not going to blow up... I am a dealer for hydro fuel solutions and there is no way for them to blow up. the water will stop any backfire... and I have yet to see a diesel backfire so your fine.
Did you buy a double unit? you might not get alot better mileage if your truck has spilt shot injectors. due to the HHO is burnt up in the first procces of injection. Good Luck!
