For the record. When jacking with caustic soda, ALWAYS add the caustic to the water, SLOWLY. Never add water to the caustic. It erupts violently. I spent two weeks in eye patches after being instructed to do it wrong. I knew better, but was p!$$ed at the time. More so after the fact. roughnecks beware.

I'm still trying differing approaches and haven't settled on anything yet. I've also been looking and learning over at hhoforums. Thus far, that alone has saved me from chasing a few dead ends.

my generator is built, but of all the research that i did i wasn't able to get all the facts about the oxygen sensers and the computers and how they will prevent any method of attempting to get better milage without adding a electronic control unit, which i understand is relatively easy to install. The info also suggested that if you don't completely understand what you are doing then it is recommended that you find a mechanic or garage that does and have them install and adjust it for you. There can be serious damage done to the engine if you screw up.I have figured out that by the time i have paid for all this then it seems that it will take a long time to recoup the cost.I think that i will not put it in my 05 4 runner but alter it and try it in my 7.3 PSD or maybe in my 90 mustang conv.5.0.GOt to think about this for awhile.Any more info will be greatly appreciated

I have a friend who sells manufactured HHO generators. The company he is a dealer for says they will not work on any PSD with the split shot fuel injection. This is straight from the manufacturer...not saying it is concrete...just sayin

Its not that it wont work on a PSD - its that it wont work on "Split Shot" PSD injectors.

you may want to read some of the earlier posts on this thread. it gets some discussion back some pages. the jist is that all the HHO is burned on the first shot from the injector...i think. I'm wondering why, whether your injectors shoot twice or not you wouldn't be pulling air in every time your injectors fire.
