Question About Additives & Temperature

Ok please forgive the ignorance as I am new to the whole diesel world.

My first question is on diesel fuel and temperature. I understand that in colder climates the fuel can gel causing issues for the filters as well as harder starts. What is considered cold? I live in Phoenix, however, spend a good amount of time up north by Flagg. Is this a cause for concern, should I just make use of the block heater and / or run an additive like Diesel Fuel Supplement +Cetane Boost?

I did pick up a bottle of the Diesel Fuel Supplement so I figure it will not hurt to run it...I normally just use the Diesel Kleen but noticed it did not have any cold weather protection.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help or guidance!

If you can get it, try Stynadine Pure Performance additive. Ford has authorized its use in Powerstrokes and it lowers the gelling point of the fuel, along with all the other benefits that you mentioned about Diesel Kleen.
