I need to find a source for some recycled 275 gal IBC totes for storage and I'll probably get a 300 gal tank for the truck for transport. Anybody have any other ideas on how to handle this kind of quantity?
Find a couple of buddies with diesels that could use your extra. Advertise on craigslist in your area someone will take it off your hands.

You could always do like the _____ that I talked to yesterday. His ad said "collecting more than I can handle, please contact". I called him to see if I could help get some off of his hands so that I can have some trip fuel for the summer. He offered that I come by and pick it up unfiltered for $2 a gallon. I laughed and explained that people like him would be the reason when we start paying taxes on WASTE oil.

This will eventually kill the injectors, and possibly coke the cylinders enough to make your rings stick. I have heard of a couple people that swear by DSE Blends, but I would like to hear their opinion on it after about 50k miles. I would also like to see DSE do a tear down after 50k and see what the combustion chamber looks like. Maybe a compression test as well.
I agree with Justin - that rarely happens so make note of it - install you a pressure guage post filter and prefilter...the loss of preasure you will see will explain why your pumps keep dieing...it can't push that goo without laboring hard.
Introducing WVO to your stock fuel system (blended or not) is just asking for alot of different problems. Too many other people have already proven this.

Honestly, what are you going to do with that much...put a barrel our there and take 50 gallons a week home, if you need more, put 2 barrels out there. Your talkin 500 - 800 gallons per month. I drive alot and i use maybe 100 gallons per month. No way in hell woould i want to try to handle that much You will spend ALOT of time trying to collect it and filter it only to be worried about it going bad while its stored.
I know its seems like the jackpot but only if you can use it, if you can't its still just garbage...
I don't drive my truck half as much as I could and still go through over 200 gals a month. If I can work this out I will sell the rest of the family vehicle and replace them with diesels too, and yeah, I have some buddies that would be able to use some as well. My problem is not how to get rid of it but how to collect and process that much.

A used Firetruck comes to mind...already equipt with a huge tank, pump and hose system.
And they are diesel engine powered too
I have seen them for sale for under $2k in good running condition.
Processing is another issue but if you build a large enough heating/settling container like my "chernoble" device, you could do 200 gallons a week.

Now I never even gave that a thought. That might be really cool.

Who the hell wouldn't like to own a real working fire engine! You would look kool going to collect your vegi oil!

Actually, Chris Goodwin of Frybrid recently bought one and is going to use it for vegi collection. so it wasn't my idea. He paid 1500 bucks and drove it home with the lights flashin...

One thing about getting it right fromthe tank, all the trash is settled at the bottomin the morning. The restraunt I get it form has some one who collects it but the restraunt is family owned so he'll just have to get over it. Around here they only give .05 a gallon so if your detrmined I sure you could under cut them with very little effort if you had your own tank out for collection.
P.S. I run straight oil no bio processe no preheating. I mix 1 gallon of diesel to 4 gallons of oil and have a home made flitering system before it ever goes through the fuel pump. I have 2 tanks, I start on straight diesel and after warm up switch to oil, and before shut off I switch back to diesel to clear the injectors. Been doing this for 9 months with no problems, starts right up every time.
