maybe im mis reading the thead starter but you all are talking about mixing diesel and aft most new the as i reread the very 1st post it reads to me that he's saying theyre running STRAIGHT, USED atf nothing about mixing or filtering. then in a later one mixing 50/50 only after temps go below freezing and saying a filter would be a good idea but not saying its nessasary ??????? this cant be good

atf synthetic as fuel - TDR Roundtable

that link has to do with atf and getting your fuel inspected, something that wasn't brought up yet.
There was another post on the TDR that had to do with running UATF. Like this one, there was some "heated" comments, but also good info. Sorry I couldn't find it.
Also like this post, none of the "technical" ???'s got answered. I've searched the 'net for info regarding UATF as a fuel I got the impression that nobody's actually testing or the info's being suppressed (just ask the aliens what I mean by that).

Haha, I LOVE my supporter badge! Makes me feel all special!

I put a quart of new dexron III in my fuel tank this morning, my tank was 3/4 full. i drove it around for a while and didn't notice anything different... of course only one time probably wont do the same thing as constantly running it BUT, since ive been doin it for years on my fleet trucks i figured ide give it a try... i dont think ill see any difference performance wise though(on one quart) but if i do ill post up. we'll see. as far as internal long term....i guess time will only tell, although it wont be me being the guiny pig as i just spent the 6 grand changing my motor lol. hope to see some verifiable information on this thread.

What EXACTLY are you (anyone) trying get by running oil or ATF in your diesel? *If* you are thinking that it will "keep your injectors clean", then guess what... powerstroke injectors don't clog up, they wear out. *IF* you are concerned about gunk in the tank, you are doing nothing more than adding to it. You need to be looking at Bio-diesel. *IF* you are concerned about lubricity of the fuel, once again you need to look at Bio-diesel.
