I read some time ago about success in several countries with systems as described. Never got further with it though.
In addition to my F550 6.0 I have an E350 equipped for natural gas. Runs nicely, a couple of pickups adapted for gasoline/natural gas as you wish.

i have been reading up on this a bit recently and am about to e-mail mark deluca about his cng fumigation set-up for my 95 psd. if it is a fumigation kit similar to propane it seems like it would be relatively simple. with cng going for a little under $2/gallon the increase in milage out of such a kit would pay for itself pretty quick. deluca says he has gotten a best of 60 mpg with his kit on his duramax plus a notable gain in hp also.
