A fool and his money are soon parted. A quick google search would reveal that diesel secret is complete bunk. Links such as this one, or say, that one, or even this thread of fun.

Thanks for the info BUT this fool has done his research and knew that this was just a fry oil thinner. If you can get the wvo to flow you can burn straight (filtered) wvo in most diesels. Those sites say that the DSE mix is to flamable but have they looked at methanol??????
Thanks again for the info.

I have a neighbor that is using some thing that sounds like this he has got contracts with some restaurant to take there used oil I have not taked to him to see how well it is going but he and his son uses it pretty regular from what I know. he says the amouts of the chemicals and the filtration has to be right on. I will take to him some more and get more information on this I am not sure if it the same stuff you are talking about.

DSE is not what you think it is. There is no way it could be a simple "magical solution" you can at to WVO at 1621:1 (152 gallons:12oz BSE). The website doesnt tell you you need to add vast amounts of kerosene, RUG (regular unleaded gas) or stall gas to blend a fuel that has a viscosity of diesel to even begin to inject it who even knows what the actual chemical makeup of the fuel then is.

Congrats to you being the test subject, and I would like to know the honest truth of what it actually is, but there needs to be a serious amount of testing done, besides making a batch and saying "WOW IT WORKS!!!!" When 400 gallons later you destroy your injectors or throw a rod becuase you put too much RUG in your mix.

But in all I would like to see the result, the whole reason I bought my 95 7.3 "Grease Lighting" was to save money on fuel, and I am rolling on 11,000 miles strong using a 2 tank WVO system, and blending homemade Biodiesel, blended 50% with ULSD for cold weather starting.

Then you MUST already know what burning cold vegi in a cold engine will do? OR Cold vegi in a hot engine even. Diluted or not, you cannot burn cold vegi...PERIOD.
Do the words "upper ring land coking" ring any bells, how about "catastrophic engine failure".

I'm new to WVO systems, and bio-diesel(sort-of). I used to run Bio-diesel in my obs. I'm tyring to do as mush research as I can about WVO and i'm seriously thinking of converting.

That being said, I just checked out that website. Total snake oil. I just spent about 5 minutes reading the entire FAQ section. If anybody reads this section of their website and still buys it, I would seriously suggest that you stop smoking crack. That's the only way anyone would buy that stuff.
They basically tell you:
That they did NOT test this stuff because that cost money,
Your mechanic will tell you NOT to use it, but DON'T listen to him,
If you do use it DON'T tell anybody that you do, because it will void your warranty,
They have copyrighted their material and WON'T tell you any of the ingredients,
Oh yeah, and they don't have an office, so you can't find them anywhere, the're "wireless"
They say you can learn more about the gelpoint in their brochure. Then three paragraphs later, they say that they don't have brochures? Oh I get it, you mean you don't have any FREE brochures! I see where this is going.
What about MSDS? Warranty? Gaurantee?
What a joke.

I wouldn't run it in my truck either. Diesel is a h*ll of alot cheaper than having to replace bad injectors and other related problems that could be caused by this fuel alternative.

Exclamation dse

DONT DO IT! My boss bought that stuff...made a bunch of it and now he has 1 dodge diesel (Soooooped way up) that wont go over 40 mph. One that trashed the lift pump and one that 3 of the 6 injectors are now leaking. soooo...now its not goin in my truck. yeah with the dse mix you mix that, cetane, kerosene, gasoline, filter through 2 home water purifier machines, then through a water block seperator. Stay away from it man...
