wanting to start making bio..... I have been research what I can online but would like some insight on what has worked best for some of yall who have done it.......Looking at buying some lye found some here Where To Buy Sodium Hydroxide | Food Grade LYE and was wondering how much would be needed to get started........also where do are yall getting the tritation test from found a few placed online but dont know witch one to get?? Im sure I have some more ???'s just cant think of them at the moment but if someone can point me in the right direction would be great........

Im getting tanks to do mixing in and looking at a centrifuge to do the dewatering afterwards, and have a little over 500 gal of wvo to start with at the moment

alright thats good info thanks...... also how much methnol??? Is it 1 gal meth to 10 gal oil???

I pay $2.32/gallon with sales tax included for drums of methanol, 4-55 gallon at a time.

Methanol is generally 20% of the equasion, depending on the titration of the feedstock.

I use acid estrification, which requires no titration testing.
