When I fist converted my 04 TDI, I ran 3450 miles on 8 gallons of diesel. It was in the late spring, driving for work.

I needed to pick up a dog in TN a year and a half ago. I ran from WI to TN and back on WVO, on two shutdowns of my blue PSD. I should have tracked the diesel used, but, after this long, you hardly consider the D2 used.

On that same truck, since November, I have not purged or switched off of B100. SOOOOO, the old gal has not seen any dino fuel in 6 months. It surely burns more crankcase oil than D2!

I thought B100 didn't do so well in the winter? or is the blue psd a heated two tank and you just hard start plugged in on b100?

I drove to cali from north texas and back. I put about 3500 miles on the truck on that trip and used about 4 or 5 gal of diesel. I stopped keeping track after I got home, but ill bet on that tank of diesel I probably got 5k to 7k miles. I never really keep track of how many miles I go between d2 fill ups.

It is a heated two tank system, modified from when I ran VO.

It starts awesome on B100, in a 60*F garage! Also, if left out, I could just purge it, like was done on VO for 135K......
