Couple quick wvo question on 6.0

I understand idleing is bad but what about with high idle and what about just 10 mins is that to long ? thanks guys

If you are going to idle, you may want to consider purging it before you do, at any RPM.

While considering a WVO conversion on the 6.0, proceed with caution. Individual results will vary.

I think he means that the 6.0 is more proned to problems on any fuel. Blown headgaskets, EGR problems, injector problems. Injectors are more sensitive then the 7.3. So clean dewatered VO at the correct fuel pressure at the right temp ( 160F or better) is very important.

Idling on VO is not a good thing on any engine. Diesels don't run very hot when idling so the chance of unburnt fuel deposits increase. This doesn't mean you cannot idle at all but just don't do it for long periods of time.
