whit puff off the line

Guys ,wonderinf if its normal, since i'm burning veggie oil. Seems as though, if at a stoplight/sign, once pedal is depressed, it'll release a small puff of, what looks like white smoke. I know that it doesnt do it if run'n D2...thanks

No white smoke..???

What veg temps are you running at? Highway and in stop/go?

I'll say this, the only time I've ever seen white smoke was after WAY too long of an idle session on veg, over 30mins. When I came out to the truck it looked like a locomotive coming from my truck, blinding white smoke. The truck ECT temp was 138 and the veg temp was 118 Low veg burn temp = white smoke

I imagine I was a minute or two from bending an exhaust valve pushrod (this has happened to a few others with long idle veg rigs) but who knows.

Went and did some research on idling on veg and it seems either you have a tuner with a high idle EVBP ON setting or try not to do it longer than a minute or two as our trucks do not hold their temp idling, I can attest to this.

Veg-on!

Great info, RIG...just at stop light/signs. I notice a quick puff of the smoke, then diminishes while accellerating. My temps, coolant is 210 outta the box ( i think havingthe external coolant pump was WELL worth the purchase), and atop the motor where my veg temp is, probably sit'n at 150-ish*. Truck doesnt seem to run any different, though i do have a "shutter" from time/time, even on D2. Gonna invest in ICP, IPR sensors for good measure. Heck their original, so 12+yrs and goin good, i cant complain....
