Beware of MICE!

I know I have read of bear's "attacking" VO stored outside, but I haven't read of this. Picked up some pnut oil from a random c-list posting a while back. Its been cold here and the oil was frozen solid when I picked it up from a super nice older fella. We were talking the whole time and I didn't pay attention to the cubies too much. Found a nice surprise in the back of my truck the next morning when the sun thawed the cubie and I saw a puddle behind my truck.

The little buggers ate a hole and crawled through the bottom and up the side until they hit the liquid level and had plastic for lunch, then the golden stuff. I'm not sure how he didn't have a mess in his garage, but I was standing there with him and there was nothing under them when I grabbed them.

Thankfully the hole was near the top.

Keep your eyes peeled if you leave these sitting around. Evidently mice like veg oil.

Mice will eat just about anything. My wife found a candle in our attic tonight that mice have been chewing on.

Peanut butter is used as mice bait. So im guessing the peanut oil was very enticing as well.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away.

Makes a great mouse trap. Leave a bit in the bottom, make it so they can climb to get in the bucket. I didn't intend it on purpose, I went out to finish filtering some oil I had, and I went to pour what was left out, and seen two brown lumps turned out to be mice.

i was at work last week and got a call from the wife.... there is an emergency and you need to come home NOW!!!!!

i go hauling balls to the house expecting to see it on fire when i get there..... walk in the door. shes there, 2 of her friends, my kid couple other kids, all sitting around watching tv...... so where is the emergency?? she tells me "there is a large furry "something" in the garage". i figured it was going after the 100ish gal of p-nut oil sitting in there. never did find it... but im expecting to have come home and find a mess at some point.

funny part is my fat lazy half mastiff half rott, anything that moves killing machine is just sitting there.... im still not sure why she didnt put him in the garage.... "emergency" over
