A buddy of mine gave me this thing and I'm not sure what I have. I cleaned off most of the grime and it says that it's a Cummins fuel blender. The instructions talk about hooking one hose to the drain pan, another to the "blended solution", and the last one dips into and draws from the diesel tank.
I was thinking I may be able to re-plumb it for use as a WVO transfer pump. It says that the engine oil temperature needs to be at least 70F. Cold WVO may be too tough. I removed the side access panels and took some pictures. What do you think? Any info on this unit is appreciated. ![]() ![]() (I guess I decided one pass with the rag was enough for the inside )![]() ![]() Motor specs |

so this is originally to blend wmo and diesel?

Yes. The guy that gave it to me is a diesel mechanic for a trucking company. He said they had to stop using it per EPA regs. Sounds like burning wmo blends used to be common place.

What type of pump does it have? If its a gear pump your in business. If its not you can probably still use it as long as the oil is not cold & thick.

I'm not sure. Can you tell by looking? I'll try to get a better picture.

If you can get a better pic then I'm sure someone will be able to tell. Even if its not it will most likely work good.
