all i have to say about this is.........an incorrect mixture, weather its a low cetane level, high sulpher, or low lubricity, can reak havock on an injections system and cost pushing 6 grand.....so be carefull and make sure you have all the info before attempting.....

and yes, my old ladies dad runs home made bio to start up and strait WVO after the coolant lines get warm....i installed it all and it has about 60k with no problems....but i have not made any of the fuel...its an in bed filtration system for the WVO and BIO made through a CO-OP hes a member of.......Marc

hey marc what do you think about mixing waste motor oil (wmo) with diesel? there's alot of guy's doing it but i'm a little hesitant about it. they mix something like one gallon per tank? or something like that.

My Understanding is they mix it unfiltered.....which means i woudl NEVER mess with it....it wouldnt be worth the risk to the fuel system (mainly the injectors)...............Marc

+ wmo has water in it,
a friend told me he knows a guy who mixes wmo + gas to create his diesel, sounds risky to me to do it that way.

hey i just did that

waste vagie oil or waste motor oil ahhh saame difference.i think or ? not .

but i did just take a 500 mile trip on a mix of 15 g veggie +15 gallons dino diesel+ 15 gallons synthetic 15-40 cheveron. the motor oil was put into my filter box whick it clogged my 1 micron paper cartrige. and then .
my figureing was when my turbo's compressor seals were going bad earlier this year i was already burnen motor oil so why stop now ?/
