EPDM or PVC

Im wanting to get more hose for my monster pump.
Can't decide on which to get. PVC can be pretty stiff. Can be a real problem knocking over things with it. But its cheap
EPDM is a lot more flexible
But one chart I saw says EPDM inst very good for vegtible oil.

Found great price for both at Varco pumper supplies. Blows Grainger's $24/foot for 1 1/4 pvc out of the water. Hell its probably cheaper than Grainger is getting it for

I would like to get some rubber hose for my monster pump too. PVC is a pain to work with when its cold. I am interested in what you find.

I diid find some "Perfect hose" but im not paying $39 a foot and it only comes in 12 foot sections.
I think im going with the edpm. Varco had some cold water flexible pvc suction hose but they said vegi would eat it along with most oils.

i wish i could find a way to stop the Monster's oil burp. Forgot about it picking up oil at a couple old ladys house that used vegi on there 2002 EX since 2003 and a motor home with a freightliner engine. Got about half gallon all over their drive way and i didnt have my purple power.

They were filtering it the OLD way. gavity filter through 3-12" sock style filters over a barrel.

They were some new age old ladys between 60-75. They were quitting because it was too hard to lift the cubbies. they had a electric zero turn mower and said it took 2 days to mow 2 acres.
One of them told me thay do sound healing. using music as medicine. Must be a lot of gullible people because they had 2 houses on the property and they were real nice houses in a even nicer neighborhood. House behind them was about a $1-2 million

Well ordered 50 ft of 1.25" edpm for $66 plus shipping.
Shipping calculator said $21.23, good price for 50 foot.
BUT i got a call 5 hours later saying there was a glitch in the calculator. Shipping would be an additional $18.22. what a That almost doubles the shipping. Shipping is more than half of the cost of the tubing.

still cheaper than everywhere else Ive found. just not nearly as good of a deal.

Well the only charged me $87.23. Butt they sent 1" not 1 1/4".
Called them up. They are sending the right hose out and since i was thinking of getting 1 inch later then I decided to keep it.
So im only paying shipping on the first one..
And its a LOT more flexible than PVC.
so I got 50 ft of 1" epdm and 50 ft of 1 1/4" with shipping for $152.24

I will take pictures when I get it of the bend radious between the pvc and edpm.

How is that edpm working out for you? I am using PVC hose on my monster pump now and since its been in the 30s and 40s for a few weeks that PVC hose is really annoying to work with. I am looking to replace it and also I am building a sucker tank and need some hose for that too.
