Fass HPFP O-Ring Question

Is there supposed to be an O-ring in this groove shown in the first pic? It would seal the two parts seen in the second pic.

This pump:

'02 F250 7.3 CC/SB, 301k. Boost, EGT, Fuel Pressure Gauges, 4" DP + Magnaflow Exhaust, 75PSI Fass, Fuel Bowl Delete, Bellowed Up Pipes, MB Quart 480 Amp, MB Quart PVI216 Coaxials F&R, Alpine Amp, RF 10" Sub.

Cab off overhaul at 301k. 6.4 Torque Converter, Refreshed 4R100, Powdercoated Oil Pan, 203* Thermostat, Coolant Filter, New ZD11s, Rebuilt Turbo, Complete O-ring replacement.

I don't know for sure. but my GUT says yes.

97 F250 ext cab lwb 4x2
AirDog2 and FASS HD (it's a WVO RR setup)
Simple Centrifuge filtering method
203 degree Mod, DIY homegrown intake, CCV mod, battery relocation,
215amp Ambulance Alt.
EBPV gut, Pedestal gut & cut
Diamond Eye 4" (3" dp) turbo back straight pipe no kitty, no muffler

how much clearance is between there becasue some of then need a o-ring but some dont. Gut feeling yes there should be one
