I'm no hero with motor oil, I've never looked into it.

But if you lay out your game plan piece by piece, and give a few more details about it like what quality of oil your getting, how you clean and filter it.

Tell some more about your truck.....

You'll get the feed back your looking for if you ask questions, and open up about what your ideas are.

Basically get used oil from my buddies shops and filter it through 10 micron filters then dump it in my tank. I was going to upgrade to a fass pump and do some in tank mods while I'm at it. I have a 01 f250 7.3 with about 150000 miles and the usual upgrades

if you do this its best to fuge the oil. and be positive you dont get synthetic in the mix. it doesnt burn properly. most of us here dotn support the use of WMO for various reason. but i can understand the budget crunch these days.

What is your reasoning for putting waste oil in your fuel? Are you trying to add lubricity or just truing to get rid of your used motor oil. Waste oil dosent add and lubrication properties to diesel fuel.
